The Miss Orlando Scholarship Program is affiliated with the Miss Florida and Miss America Organizations. Rich in history and social significance, the Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit corporation that has maintained a tradition of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum in which to express their opinions, talent and intelligence. This wonderful program is the largest scholarship provider for young women in the world, making available over $45 million in scholarship each year. The winner of the pageant will advance to the Miss Florida Scholarship Program with the chance to increase her scholastic earnings. The Miss Orlando Scholarship Pageant awarded more than $6000 in scholarships and prizes. The Miss Orlando and Miss Orlando Outstanding Teen contestants solicited more than $1500 for Miss America’s national platform, Children’s Miracle Network. In 2010, we will be awarding more than $15,000 in awards, scholarships and prizes.
